Here’s a little sneak peak of our (almost) completion. While it looks like it can serve as a functional office from a quick glance, we still have a lot of work left to do.
Starting with the outside, everything is done. We just had our store front updated with a sleek black and white theme leading from the sidewalk to the inside. Our keycard entry is just about done as well, so don’t try to break in unless you want to hear an egregious alarm while having the DeKalb Police Department.
On the inside, we still need an elevator that works, our furniture, and lighting. The elevator is still a giant task, as there was no prior framework leading up to it. We started from the ground up, but we think this is attainable by the end of 2017. The lighting is officially in, all that’s left is the install and replacement of our current temporary lights. Moving is always a daunting task, but we’re glad our new home is right down the street, it makes for a much swifter transition.
The behind scenes work still involves more wiring and fiber done. There should be very little in this category left to do. We should have all of this up and running by the end of this week, or early next week at the latest. Funny thing about tech companies, there is a lot of cable needed to become operational.
